The structural feature of concentric butterfly valve is that the valve stem axis, butterfly plate center and body center are in the same position. The utility model has the advantages of simple structure and convenient manufacture. Common rubber lined butterfly valves belong to this category. The disadvantage is that the butterfly plate and valve seat are always in the state of extrusion and scraping, large resistance distance and fast wear. In order to overcome extrusion, scraping and ensure sealing performance, the valve seat is basically made of elastic materials such as rubber or polytetrafluoroethylene, but its use is limited by temperature. This is why people traditionally think that the butterfly valve is not resistant to high temperature.
